Alykes area

Alykes tourist resort is located on the northern coast of the island and is famous for its salt plains (alykes in Greek) which were used to collect salt from the sea. The beach is sandy with blue waters and many water sports that you can try. There are beach bars with sun loungers and umbrellas, as well as quiet parts on the beach, not organized, where you can relax on the sand and enjoy the sun.

Shops, restaurants, traditional tavernas and bars can be found all over the resort. For a quieter evening try the small family resort of Alykanas which is accessible on foot. Do not miss the boats that visit the Blue Caves and the Shipwreck on a daily basis! It will surely be an unforgettable experience.
